Gayton Student LIFE…
Is the youth ministry of Gayton Baptist Church for students in grades 6-12.
The goal is to lead students to experience LIFE in Jesus Christ through:
Discipleship - in worship, prayer, Bible study
Community - in support, friendship and fun together
Action - in opportunities for leadership, outreach & service
We work toward this goal through weekly gatherings and special events! Our weekly gatherings include: Sunday morning Youth Brunch Bible Study, Sunday evening LifeNights, and a summer mid-week Bible study. Special events include outings, seasonal events, retreats, fun community gatherings, and an annual mission trip.

Weekly
Sunday, 10:00am: Morning Worship (for all ages)
Sunday, 11:00am: Youth Brunch Bible Study
All youth come together for brunch refreshments and opening, and then divide into a middle school class and a high school class.
(Adult classes & Kids Min also offered at this time.)

"Keeping it Real" Youth Fall Retreat
No masks. No filters. Just an authentic life in Christ!
For WHO?: ALL students in grades 6-12! Both middle and high school students are welcome!
WHAT is this?: An oppotunity to get away to focus on God and enjoy a weekend retreat which will include fun community-building activities and awesome worship and Bible study times!
WHEN?: Friday-Sunday, October 31-November 2, 2025
WHERE?: Westview on the James, a camp and retreat center located at 1231 West View Road, Goochland, VA 23063 - approx. 40 minutes from Gayton Baptist.
WHY?: To grow closer to Jesus and closer with one another in community. Students today are dealing with an identity crisis. Many hide behind masks or filters that cover truth and distort reality. This retreat is to help us see God clearly, to be reminded of His love and grace for us and to learn how to reflect His image and love to this world... to live an unmasked authentic life in Christ! We will focus on this topic through our worship and Bible study times. Then we will have fun together as a family in God enjoying games, meals, activities, and community-building fun among the colorful fall foilage in a quiet and beautiful retreat center!
HOW?: Simply sign up on this registration - indicating also any allergies and special needs - and including your T-shirt size. The cost for this is $140 a person which includes programming, Bible study books, T-shirt, snacks, lodging and 4 meals. Please submit payment with your registration. SIGN UP and PAY by or before September 30!
Students, feel free to invite friends! This is a great way to bring in new students to our group! Let's have as many middle and high schoolers there as possible!
(A "what to pack" email will be sent out at the end of September after registration is closed.)

Updated Forms and Information
The following forms - Medical Information/Release Form and Code of Conduct Form must be completed for students to participate in activities sponsored by Gayton Baptist Church.
Forms are valid for one year from date of submission.
