This week's Scripture memory verse: "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." - James 5:16
As we begin a new year, we’re excited to introduce The Vine, our new weekly newsletter replacing The Glance. Rooted in Jesus’ words from John 15, The Vine is designed to help us stay connected, grow deeper, and bear fruit together. This new format brings everything into one place with quick links and ministry highlights—making it easier than ever to stay engaged in the life of our church.
In this edition, you’ll find a letter and photos from our mission team in Panama, Vacation Bible School information, and introductions to our newly ordained deacons.
This Sunday, January 11, we gather with gratitude as we celebrate God’s work among us. During the 10:00 AM worship service, we will ordain two new deacons, and Rev. Bryon LePere will preach “Help My Unbelief!” from Mark 9:14–29, a timely reminder of God’s grace in moments of doubt and faith.
At 11:00 AM, all adult Bible Study classes will meet together in the Worship Center for a combined class led by Dr. Robert Kruschwitz of Baylor University, offering a look ahead toward Lent through the Gospel of Mark.
Kids Ministry meets at both 10:00 and 11:00 AM. Youth will gather for Bible Study, Fellowship, and Brunch at 11:00 AM, and the evening will conclude with Youth Life Nights at 6:00 PM.
We look forward to worshiping and growing together as we remain connected to The Vine.
